A contradiction of terms: compact and lightweight makes Scout a huge shelter; a simple design but long on versatility. A clever tensioning cord in a perimeter channel allows easy setups, and an integrated stuff sack and guyline pocket make packing up a breeze!
Quick setup: Unique channel along the outer seam hides an adjustable shock cord. Once set, tension remains constant and the tarp stays taught.
Numerous guylines and loops for versatile setup or suspension.
Scout can be pitched as simple A-Frame shelter over a stretched cord.
Use almost anything to support Scout: paddles, trekking poles, skis, branches, snowshoes, or even a pack. Integrated storage sack doubles as an anchor for solid, secure setups.
The compact integrated packsack doubles as anchor sack for supports such as trekking pole, paddle, branch etc.
Central attachment loop allows Scout to be suspended from a branch or other overhang.
Lap-felled seams sew thread through 4 layers of interleaved fabric. Thread is cotton wrapped polyester for strength and durability, and which expands when wet to close holes against water.
