Model F1 has been the official survival knife for pilots within the Swedish Air Force since 1995. The F1 Survival knife is available in an all-black Teflon coated design.In addition to reducing the risk of unwanted reflections, the Teflon coating gives further protection against corrosion. In salt-water environments, we recommend using the Teflon coated version. Ther are two types of leather sheath - a fully enclosed sheath which accommodates the knife on the belt, or an open, hinged sheath which hangs slightly lower on the belt.
