The Gerber Meridian Headlamp was designed with the hunter in mind. Three different color LED's. First, a super bright, regulated 1 watt white LED, good up to 100 feet of visibility. A separate red LED, to maintain night vision, or to use in the blinking mode for rescue situations and a separate green LED, used for reading topograhic maps and also doesn't scare the game away. Operates on 3 AA batteries, stored in a rear battery pack on the over the head strap.
