While the SIGG bottle may look much like any other, it in fact packs a lot of high-tech. SIGG bottles are extrusion-pressed from one-piece aluminium blank the size of an ice-hockey puck, which results in a cylinder with uniform, seamless walls. The blank is now pressed into any number of novel shapes, and the threading ring is inserted and secured. The bottle interior is thoroughly cleaned using ecologically friendly cleaning agents, and then sprayed with a taste-inert, food-compatible stove enamel that is baked-on. Next comes the outside coating. Solvent free powder paint is applied and heat boned with the underlying metal. The well-known logo is printed, along with ever-changing contemporary graphic designs. Now the final touch, a leak-proof bottle top. Any SIGG bottle top fits any SIGG bottle.
